Google Fact. The BBC World Service has conducted an annual global opinion poll since 2005. In 2008 it interviewed over 17,000 individuals across 34 countries including Israel. Iran was the most negatively viewed country globally with a 54% negative rating. It was followed by Israel with a 52% negative rating. This poll was conducted prior to recent events in Gaza. Israel needs to change course on its treatment of Palestinians if it is to change world opinion.

By 1948, the Arabs had still not yet discovered their ancient nation of Falastin. When they were offered half of Palestine west of the Jordan River for a state, the offer was violently rejected. Six Arab states launched a war of annihilation against the nascent State of Israel. Their purpose was not to establish an independent Falastin. Their aim was to partition western Palestine amongst themselves.

Over your working life this equates to 25,000 dollars for every Israeli. Instead of funding Israeli State terrorism this money could have been spent on a universal health service for you and your family. The International Covenant of Childrens Rights condemns the recruitment of children under age 18 in armed conflicts. Yet contrary to this basic tenet, Palestinian children are deliberately being raised in a culture of violence and hate. The instances of proof are many and varied. Raising infants and children to become suicidal/homicidal bombers is a violation of fundamental human rights, a breach of the Geneva Convention and a war crime.

Economic weapon is popular way in Arab world to express their hostility. Even some Arab analysts suggest, that enormous Israeli economy will not be affected by an Arab boycott, and thus, this option should be abandoned as it will only cause harm locally. Supporters say the boycott is not meant as an economic weapon to harm Israeli economy, so much as a political message to the world. Arabs will always need some political and economic weapon in their struggle (aggression) against Jewish state.

Mr. Netanyahu was sworn in as Israel’s prime minister on March 31. Shortly thereafter, the Obama administration confronted Israel’s new leader in a very public way regarding Israeli settlements in the West Bank, an area partially controlled by the Palestinian National Authority. This was an extremely unusual way for an American president to greet the new leader of a liberal democracy that’s a close ally of the U.S.

The Palestinian Authority has intentionally mobilized Palestinian children to man the front line in its struggle against Israel, frequently using them as shields to protect Palestinian gunmen. This mobilization of Palestinian youth has, moreover, been facilitated by the long-term impact of Palestinian Authority (PA) curricula, government-controlle d media, and summer camp programs, which indoctrinated the youth for armed confrontation with Israel even prior to the current crisis.
